No User shall provide fictional or false contact information.
- No user may misrepresent his or her true identity at any time. This
includes correspondence with other users or ourselves. To use this
Internet Auction site you must register. By registering you acknowledge
that you have read and understand these rules.
- Users of this site will treat all other site users and staff with
decency and respect. They will be honest, obey the law, and treat
everyone in a professional manner. Lying, cheating, misrepresentation,
fraud or any other objectionable activity will at least result in
bad notices - send us an email about the problem at problems@gunsight.co.uk,
and may also result in criminal or civil legal action.
- Sellers will provide an accurate description of each lot entered
for auction and truthfully represent the lot's true condition. Sellers
are legally bound to sell the item to the highest bidder when the
reserve price is met.
- Bidders are legally bound to purchase any items when they are the
highest bidder at or above the reserve price. False bidding is fraud
and may be subject to criminal or civil legal action.
- When an auction has ended the highest bidder and the seller will
be notified via Email. Once Email notification has been sent the auctioneer
has no further responsibility to the bidder or the seller either expressed
or implied. It is the responsibility of the two parties involved to
complete the transaction. This web site is an Internet Auction site
and operates as a "Fee For Services Rendered" business and is not
responsible for fraud or illegal use of firearms. We will, however,
intervene when our services are abused.
- After bidding on a lot reaches the reserve price, the item is sold
to the highest bidder.
- All firearms, guns and munitions must be transported by legal means.
Registered Firearms Dealers and your local Police Firearms Department
can advise you on the legal requirements. Any lot description found
to be objectionable in any way by the auctioneer will be deleted or
edited at its discretion.
- In the case of fraud, misrepresentation or other suspected abuses
no refunds shall be made until the conclusion of the investigation
and/or criminal or civil legal action. Any person or persons responsible
may be subject to criminal prosecution and/or civil action.
- The Auctioneer reserves the right to refuse the custom of any would
be user of this Internet Auction for any reason at any time. Such
refusal shall give the would be user no right of action.
- Entries over three months old may be deleted to make room for new
items, whether they have gone through two auctions or not.
- Users will not SPAM other users.
- Sellers will not bid on their own Lots.
- Each User will save harmless and indemnify the auctioneer against
all actions, costs, and claims arising in whatsoever manner out of
his/her or their use of this site.
- The law of England and Wales shall be the proper law for determining
disputes arising out of the use of this site. Users submit to the
jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. A site user's address
registered on this site shall be his address for service of legal
proceedings.
